video display driver crashes Please helpRight then, I've got some time now to help you! First things first, do you still have issues? I ask because it's strange that 2 different stess tests passed with no errors or issues yet you have had issues in games. So, do you still have an issue? If you are, try re-seating your GPU. To do so, take out the card fully out of the system and then place it back in the slot firmly but gently. Whilst the PC is open, clean the PC of dust wow po. If there is dust, use a can of compressed air and blow the dust out. DO NOT USE A VACUUM CLEANER OR SIMILAR ITEM TO CLEAN THE DUST! Also check for items that may obstruct the GPU fan, cables for example. work on an anti-static workbench, anti-static desk, or an anti-static pad. Hold something metallic while touching it to the anti-static surface, or use an anti-static wristband to attach to the anti-static material while working. I just got Sleeping Dogs and if I put the graphics settings on high or ultra cutscenes will play with major graphics missing, like the entire city won't be there, just the rain coming down, or a person won't be there. Once it finishes the cutscene it freezes for a second then the program crashes. On medium the game runs perfectly, no screen tearing, no freezing and no crashes so far with 2 hours played. I'll try reseating it now, I don't have any compressed air though. I'm sure it would be under some warranty, but because I'm in Australia Newegg doesn't post here, so I had to go through an Australian company that pays a contact in the US to buy pieces, who then ships it to them, who ship it to their clients. I may not end up having any warranty, or it could be extremely difficult to get a replacement as they are based in a different city to where I live. If it turns out to be a faulty card and I can't get a replacement wow gold, do you have any recommendations for a GPU? Ideally something that can handle at least high settings on Sleeping Dogs/Borderlands 2/Guild Wars 2.Thanks so much for the help so far, really glad that random people are so willing to help others out just because they can. thank you.EDIT: Scratch that, started playing Sleeping Dogs on medium, got a little bit of screen tearing and then the game crashed about 5 minutes in. I don't know if it means anything, but occasionally when a game crashes, there will be a buzzing sort of sound that comes through the speakers. It's like a beep sound but repeated at least 60 times a second.I re-seated the GPU, but in the process noticed something that you will have to tell me if it is important or not. I don't know the technical terms so if this gets confusing, sorry. I had two PCI-E cords going into the GPU, and when i took them out to re-seat the card, I noticed one of them only had 5 pins instead of 6. There were three possible inputs I could have chosen from, two of them had 6 pins and one of them had 5 pins. I've changed the 5 pin input to the second 6 pin. Could this have had anything to do with the problem Acheter Des PO? Have I given my card too much power now? If this has been the problem all along I'm so sorry, had no idea until just now that I was using 11 pins instead of 12. If that was confusing here's some pictures to hopefully clear it up:
